Richard Kapp
Viennese artist Richard Kapp is one of the most original voices on the independent music scene today. Drawing from influences as diverse as modern jazz and 70s pop tune smiths such as ELO and 10CC, Richard's oblique take on life, reflected in his wry, often humorous lyrics and infectious melodies, has led to comparisons with the Divine Comedy and Rufus Wainwright. As well as performing with funk, jazz and rock bands as a drummer, Richard Kapp has released several solo albums to critical acclaim, and continues to push the envelope a little further with each new recording.
